The Audi R8 is a fantastic road car by any stretch of the imagination with outstanding performance and handling characteristics to match. For this reason Creventic BV chose this vehicle as a basis for its new and exciting project. To develop this vehicle for competition use. Within our organization a department has been set up and a number of experienced and qualified people have been brought in to build, develop and oversee this project.

With the know how and experience from people throughout the European community the first two Audi CR-8 have been completed. And are already been exhibited in Dubai where the successful shakedown has been taken place during the 3rd edition of Toyo Tires 24h race of Dubai, January 2008.

The two Audi CR-8´s which has been already introduced in Dubai in January 2008 had only mild modification to the engine management system, even so remapping provides a staggering 430 hp. The lower gear factory imposed power reduction has been removed to further enhance acceleration. One if the technical modifications is the change from the standard Audi 4WD to the 2WD which is common in Motor sport.

After the introduction and shakedown of the Audi CR8 GT3 during 24hDubai in January 2008, its performance has been further improved.
Apart from some major improvements, like sequential 6 speed gearbox, weight reduction, central wheel locking system, Brembo racing brakes, 120 litre FIA approved fuel tank, a lot of other specifications are updated. To name a few, engine power, increased torque, drive shaft improvement, Sachs race clutch and lighter fly wheel, heated front window and a new and lighter dashboard.

Although this race version is initial build to GT3 specification, on customer request changes to specification can be looked at, eg. a GT4 specification depending on an eventually approval of the homologation.
